We had our 4-month checkups last week...Oh, yeah. That's right. We got our second round of immunizations. Let's just say that we don't like shots... And the shots don't like Alan. 

He has been a little off since that night. Waking up every three hours is not something I am ready to pick back up. It was just weird. Bruce and I both knew he was not hungry, but couldn't figure out what woke him up. I checked his diaper, no poop. And he was not comforted by rocking. We finally had to just put him back in his crib to soothe himself.

It was an aweful experience that I hope doesn't happen after the next round. Poor little guy. He doesn't know why he feels bad. He just does. 

Luckily, last night he was back to normal. Now... if we can just get him to sleep past 4:30 now, that would be great. I know, that seems crazy early. But it works for us. I set my alarm for 5 anyway, and if he sleeps much later than about 5:15 or 5:30, I am nursing up until the time I need to be pulling out of the driveway. That makes for a very hectic start to an already busy day.
