Who, Me?

At four months old, Mommy and Daddy are more smitten than ever! 

Alan is growing by the hour, it seems.

Right now, Alan is doing wonderful with his tummy time. (Thanks, Mimi!) He is moving his arms and legs constantly. He still loves his bouncy seat. Especially when Mommy and Daddy are in the kitchen. Let's just face it. He likes to be in the middle of things.

 

He is so funny when he is trying to figure out something... He gets going with really short breaths and will look back and forth from Bruce to me over and over. He seems to like when we are both in sight.

 

Alan is sleeping well at night still. I am still nursing him when he is with me, and pumping while he is at his Mimi's so he can stay on that good mommy's milk. It is working very well. Dare I say too well. I had an accident while pumping yesterday at work! Come to find out, if you wait too long to pump, the bottles may not hold it all! Yes.. the bottles will overflow.

The school year is going well. After a few weeks, I am finally getting readjusted to my role as "Mrs. Ulrich". It has been a tough transition. Probably the toughest I have ever gone through. 

 

Bruce has been wonderful throughout this transition. He does so much for Alan and for me. We have a great understanding of what each other needs. Strangely and wonderfully at the same time, he is strong where I am weak...

We go back to see Dr. Mullin next Wednesday, and I can't wait to see how much he has grown! I think we get our second round of shots at this visit, too... YUK!
