Once again, Bruce has out done himself!
Every year, he spoils me with goodies that I won't go buy for myself!
I had a wonderful birthday! It started out much earlier than ever before!
Alan didn't know what to think about all of the action!
This year, I have been humbled by many great blessings. It makes my perspective so much more clear. Not that I don't enjoy opening gifts.... of course I do. But my focus has been shifted from myself to the others in my family. After opening each of Bruce's gifts, my attention drifted back to Bruce and Alan.
Thanks so much to all of the family and friends who wished me a Happy Birthday! I couldn't have asked for a more joyous celebration. I spent the morning with Alan at home, ate lunch with sister, Carla, and nephew, Isaac, at Lenny's. Went shopping for some pants to fit my new body shape... (It's so weird how everyone says having a baby changes your body. Turns out it is true!) Then visited at Michelle's for Alan to meet Ainsley! The evening ended with one last surprise from Bruce. He had a bottle of champagne to celebrate with. It was a wonderful end to a great day!

Mission for this week: Soak up as much Alan time as I can. He is changing day by day, and my back to school date is rapidly approaching. We weighed him yesterday, and he is already approximately 16lbs and 25 inches in length! (He doesn't often lie perfectly still to be measured!)
I am still praying that God will grant me what my heart wishes.
I know that He will provide health, wisdom, and prosperity for our family.
Well, I'm very glad you had a good "Birthday Weekend." I like lavishing things upon you.....because you don't often ask for much. That's what makes it so great! I hope you get a ton of enjoyment out of all of your gifts! Love you!
