Alan is growing by leaps and bounds!
He is making great improvements physically and socially.

He can now follow mommy and daddy as they cross the room! He also reacts to familiar toys during play time. He hasn't rolled over again since his initial "roll-over" during his second week, but he is active none-the-less. His arms and legs are always moving whether he is in the bouncy or on his palette. He is still working on the control of them. He jabs himself in the face all of the time!
We are settling into our night time routine at home. I think he has learned what bath time means. As soon as he hears the bath water running, he calms right down. He is starting to like the water less hot now. He loves to have the water drizzled into his neck and on his belly!
He is sleeping great at night! Last night, he went to bed at 6:40 and didn't wake to eat until 2:55! Can you tell he found his fingers earlier this week?
I began to notice a huge difference during naps as well.
I just started reading Boys Should Be Boys: 7 Secrets to Raising Healthy Sons by Meg Meeker, M.D. I love it so far! I hope to learn about ways I can strengthen Alan's God-given "rambunctious, adventures, and curious" character.
Wow, he's doing so great! I'm glad he's finally able to get the sleep he (and mommy) need! "Rambunctious, adventurous, and curious"--this should be interesting! :)
